In eastern medicine, healing is found when we turn our attention inward to our body, mind and heart space. During these summer months of big sun, big heat and big vacations and adventures it is easy to over extend ourselves with all of this yang energy both physically and emotionally. It is my hope that in offering this and other meditations to you, that you find a space to nourish that yin energy of turning inward, resting, grounding and finding peace. Health and wellness is found when we can tend to both our outward, “doing”, yang energy as well as our inward, restful, just “being” energy.

This meditation is one many of you have experienced during your treatments. This is a body scan meditation which will guide you into a deeply restful state. I find this type of meditation useful when I am feeling anxious and struggling to calm my thinking mind or before bed to help bring the mind and body together to rest.
