Welcome to Markland Acupuncture LLC

An integrative, internal medicine approach to health & healing.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been used in East Asian medical practices for over 2,000 years.  This approach to health and wellness values treating the whole person, not only the disease symptoms.  It is extremely effective for treating chronic aches and pains or acute injury to the physical body.  East Asian medicine is also very effective in treating many internal disorders.  At its core is the idea that the mind is integrated with the body and that the vitality of both of these must be considered for long term healing to take place.

Patient Feedback

For long standing aches and pains acupuncture is the way to go. Had my first session yesterday and a pain that I have been dealing with for nine months has diminished to almost nothing. Best ever!!

Absolutely awesome place. I highly recommend Shannon- 7 weeks of sciatic pain tried numerous things. Walked out feeling better than I had in weeks. Thanks Shannon!

I’ve dealt with sinus issues for several years.  A few months ago, I came down with a headache that stayed with me for an entire week. The results were near immediate, within 10-15 minutes into the session, my headache had been nearly completely relieved and I could literally feel fluids draining from my sinuses. Following this first session, I did have two (very slight) headaches. I returned a short time later for a follow-up session and have not had a headache since! After all the medications I’ve tried in the past, to say I’m extremely pleased with the results, would be a massive understatement! I would highly recommend Markland Acupuncture.”
